There are not that many electric scooters for tall adults. My cousin, who is 194 cm / 6’4” tall, can’t really ride my Xiaomi M365 Pro without slouching.
Most brands build their scooters for the average person, and tall people often have trouble finding scooters. Luckily, some brands make scooters for taller people as well. They take into account their height, the fact that they usually have longer arms, and often their possibly bigger weight as well.
I went through all the data and personal experiences with many electric scooters to find the best models for tall people. These are the best electric scooters for tall people, based on their height and budget.
Best value electric scooter for tall people – Inokim OX
All things considered, the Inokim OX offers the best value for tall riders.
This is a very tall scooter, to begin with. With a height 130 cm / 51 in, the Inokim OX is the tallest electric scooter in the world right now!
A 6 ft 2 in / 188 cm rider would be very comfortable on this scooter, and practically anyone up to 6 ft 8 in / 203 cm can use it with a natural posture.
With 10-inch tires, and a deck about 5+ in / 12+ cm above the ground, this scooter has an estimated deck-to-handlebar height of around 40 in / 102 cm. That puts it among the few scooters suitable for even the tallest of people.
Pretty much everyone above 6 feet / 180 cm should be able to ride this scooter. Since the handlebars aren’t adjustable, the max rider height for the Inokim OX is somewhere around 6 ft 6 in / 198 cm.
It can carry 265 lbs / 120 kg on its deck without a problem. Hence, it’s not only good for tall people, but for heavy people too.
Even if Inokim didn’t build this scooter with tall people in mind, it would still be a great value scooter.
With a top speed of 28 mph / 45 kmh, and an amazing range of 62 mi / 100 km, it has literally all that you may ever ask from a scooter. It costs around $1899. You can check out my detailed Inokim OX review if you’re curious about this scooter.

Best electric scooter for people around 6 feet 8 inches / 203 cm tall – Inokim OXO
Another one from the Inokim brand. This time we got the more powerful version of the previous model, the Inokim OXO.
While the Inokim OX was only good for people up to 6 ft 6 in / 198 cm, the upgraded Inokim OXO can be ridden by anyone around and slightly above 6 ft 8 in / 203 cm.
Not only is the Inokim OXO a good scooter for tall people, but it’s also a good scooter for big people in general.
The Inokim series somewhat caters to heavy adults. Their stems are incredibly sturdy and easy to manage for a taller person, and their decks are always coated with safe rubber covers to prevent the slipping of people with a high center of gravity.
The reason why this scooter is good for tall people is the estimated 41 in / 105 cm deck-to-handlebar height.
With a general height of 51 in / 130 cm, the Inokim OXO is one of the best scooters for tall people, only a few inches below the tallest models.
The Inokim OXO is a mini-monster. A very well-balanced scooter, it has a top speed of 40 mph / 65 kmh, and a range of 68 mi / 110 km.
For the price of $2599, you just can’t ask for anything more. If you are tall and you can afford it, you should really think about getting it. See my complete Inokim OXO review if you’re interested in this scooter.

Best electric scooter for people around 6 feet / 182 cm tall – Ninebot Max
Ninebot Max is, without a doubt, one of the most popular electric scooters in the past few years. Of course, that means it will be suitable for a large variety of people.
It has a height of 47.2 in / 120 cm. The deck is situated at 3.1 in / 8 cm off the ground, or about one-third the height of the 10-inch wheels.
That gives it a handlebar height of 40.1 in / 102 cm. It is the perfect fit for most medium to almost-tall people.
With a maximum carry load of 220 lbs / 100 kg, it’s not exactly ideal for heavy riders. As we said, it is meant to be a massively popular scooter, and it’s built for the everyday person. It will still manage the average Joe with no problem, but don’t expect to overload it and still go at the top speed the entire time.
At the end of the day, this scooter was purely made to be fun, reliable, easy to use, and as simple as it can get. It took a lot of inspiration from the popular Xiaomi models, and replicated their findings and added its own twist, with a high degree of commercial success as a result.
The Ninebot Max needs no long reintroductions. With a great price of $950, it will give you a very strong range of 40 mi / 64 km and a top speed of 18.6 mph / 30 kmh.
If you are curious about this scooter, make sure to see my Ninebot Max review.
