Warranty Policy

The warranty of every product will be specified on the product’s page, and will often vary based on the price and complexity level of the product.

How to qualify for warranty

  • You must present a copy of sales receipt from EScooterNerds directly.
  • The product cannot be used for rental or commercial use.
  • The product cannot be used for competition.
  • The product must be purchased directly from the website.
  • Unless specified otherwise on the product page, warranty claims made within 30 business days of delivery will be eligible for replacement parts and shipping of replacement parts at no additional charges. Claims made after 30 business days of delivery will still be eligible for replacement parts but the customer will be responsible for the shipping fees incurred for the required parts.

Limitations of liability

Unless specified otherwise on the product page, these are the general limitations of liability:

  • The Limited Warranty is valid for 1 year or 6 months and is non-transferable and non-renewable after the product’s initial sale.
  • No unapproved modifications are allowed.
  • No reimbursement for towing, loss of time, use, inconvenience, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Warranty is void if there is weather-related water damage. The owner is responsible for weather protection and storage.
  • We do not cover products or accessories not made by EScooterNerds (e.g., scooters, motors, tires, wheels, batteries). These are subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty.
  • The warranty does not cover minor cosmetic damages from normal use or intentional/unintentional damage.
  • It does not cover damage from improper cleaners, solvents, chemicals, water, smoke, soot, saltwater, sea breeze, or salt exposure.
  • It excludes damage from aging, such as paint fading, surface deterioration, rubber or plastic wear, or rusting.
  • Improper repair or misdiagnosed problems are not covered.
  • The warranty only covers parts like a scooter’s motor, battery, controller, and LCD display, excluding rider-induced damages.
  • For scooters, it does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, use outside the Owner’s Manual, or abnormal conditions.
  • Accidents and personal negligence are not covered.
  • Natural corrosion, wear and tear of screws, nuts, and bolts are not covered.
  • Shipping fees are not covered.


For electric scooters, we cover the following:

  • To get your scooter running again quickly after your warranty claim is approved, EScooterNerds will ship the necessary replacement parts to you and provide guided assistance through tutorials, videos, images, documents, and phone/video calls
  • If your warranty claim is approved and you cannot or do not have time to repair the product, EScooterNerds may arrange repair services for you at no extra charge. However, you are responsible for shipping costs, taxes, uncovered part replacements, and other third-party costs. You can choose to deliver the product to the repair facility yourself to avoid shipping fees.

How to claim your warranty

Follow these steps to claim your warranty:

  • Include relevant videos and images as attachments with your order information. Document as many details as possible to explain your warranty claim. When requested by our customer support team, supporting videos and images are mandatory to process your claim. Failure to provide sufficient information or supporting media may result in your claim being denied.
  • Within 1-3 business days, our team will respond with instructions and/or follow-up questions to process your warranty claim.

Your responsibility

As the product owner, you are responsible for performing the required maintenance. A warranty claim may be denied if you fail to perform all scheduled maintenance. Warranty coverage may also be denied if your device or a part fails due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unapproved modifications. For any issues with your product, email [email protected].
